About Us

BioViron was launched in 2005 to provide a “one stop” source for companies and public sector organizations in delivering environmentally friendly products and supporting a reduced carbon footprint.

BioViron offers an extensive line up of biodegradable plastics with proven commercial and environmental value, including the innovative Green Cell™ product.
In 2006 the company began developing its own range of added value products

  • BioViron™ Cool Boxes
  • BioViron™ design, electrical and medical packaging
  • BioViron™ thermal insulation

In 2007 BioViron became an authorised supplier to the Ministry of Defence and received NATO codification for six of its products lines.
The company also added new products

  • BioViron™ PLA Biocompostable film
  • BioViron™ PLA Biocompostable pellets for use in injection molding and thermoforming

In 2008 BioViron began----- development initiatives to extend its product range

  • Large scale packaging applications including furniture
  • Preliminary  phase development of eco-friendly building applications in conjunction with the University of Bath

In 2009 the company has expanded its role in spearheading environmental product as a member of the NNFCC Thematic working group on bio-renewable building products

*Green Cell material is a product of KTM industries Inc. and is a safe, non-toxic, water-soluble, fully biodegradable polymer material and meets all US and international standards of biodegradability including specifications for compostable plastics as per ASTM D6400 (USA), BIN54900 (Germany and EN13432 (Europe. Green Cell has Shown to be biodegradable in various environments as per ASTM D5988 (soil), ASTM D53338/ISO14855 (composting) and ASTM D6691 (aqueous and marine).
